My cats LOVED this bed and used it all the time, until it fell out of the wall one day. The wall plugs are still in the wall but the screws just came right out. I used only the equipment for mounting that came with the bed, but it may very well be that I didn't do it right, so just make absolutely sure it really is firmly attached before you let your cats use it. If you do that I do recommend it because all my cats loved it. It could be a little bit bigger to hold even the largest cats.
